Blogs are Back!

Hello all we are back from a long break of blogging . The reason we have not been blogging  is because  Mr Gregg has been away  . So the aim is this last week of term to get at least a couple of blogs down before the holidays.

For the last term or so Mrs Boden has been teaching us.   A few weeks ago two people from Eden Court  came and did an afternoon of dance with us.We did African dancing  and break dancing and  even at the end of it we did some limbo which I enjoyed best.  Last weeek Hamish and Rebecca came and  did a lesson of wood work and printing.   For the printing we drew a shape into a piece of polystirene and then printed it into a piece of  card.  This term our project has been about our community so Lawrence and Catriona came in to speak to us about place names and stories on  Muck.

First day back at school

Here we are back at school all working hard as usual. I have just remembered all the things i did last year and remembered how to do them. It seems odd being at school  after such a long holiday and two people went last year called Jamie who has gone to high school and Jake who has moved away and everyone is quite sad. We have  just started a new topic about weather.

First day back

Hi we are all back after 7 weeks of none stop FUN!!! We have new people in the school and Jamie has left to go to Mallaig High School while we have all gone forward a year. Ben and Oliver have moved up from nursery to P1 and we now have a definite teacher Mr Gregg.

It is a big change for everyone not having Jamie here. Having been away for so long means we are all overwhelmed by the different structure of our day. James and Me are now in Primary 7 which is a change (wow lots of changes!) I am looking forward to the school year ahead and what it might bring.

Small Isles Week

WE’RE BACK!!!

We have(me Alexander,James and Jamie) all been away on the Small Isles Trip for the past week with the Rum,Eigg,Canna and Inverie children. We went to Lochyside RC Primary for art, music and drama - THEY WERE GREAT! The mountain biking and kayaking were easy peasy, we didn’t learn ANYTHING! I really enjoyed the bowling and swimming but I HATED the Outward Bound. It was sooooooo boring for one 1/2 hours all we did was stack crates and hold a rope meanwhile the other group were having LOADS of fun!! And to top all of that off it was pouring it down and the midges were atrocious.

Even though I enjoyed some parts of this trip more than others I think it was still a good trip.
